There are many people out there who can shoot an event. They will have all types of equipment and sell all sorts of ideas. I sell myself. All of the fancy equipment and ideas mean nothing if you can’t work with the person who is doing the job. I firmly believe I have been given a gift from God. I love shooting photos. It is my passion.

For some photographers weddings are just not on their menu. It takes a special person to work with families in a high stress environment. Working 10 years in college athletics helped prepare me for that challenge. Spending time with two people who are ready to share their lives together, to become one person, I don't take that lightly and I challenge them with that. For others, sports photography is just too much work for little gain. That passion for me outweighs personal gain. I love the challenge and thrill of shooting a youth league, high school, college or professional event. After all, these people are out there giving their all and it is my challenge to do the same and capture that moment forever. And then there is portrait or fashion photography, a whole other animal. But again it gets down to the basics – PEOPLE. Can you relate to people? If you know me I am never short on conversation. I love to talk to people. Once a person is comfortable around you, then you can see the real person and the fun begins. Architecture – a combination of skill, art, craftsmanship and again – passion. Every time I shoot a building or structure I see the talent God gave someone to create and design. I try and match that passion in what I shoot.
